Notes - ?Page 381.--In the name of God, Amen. I, JEREMIAH VAILL, of Southold, in Suffolk County, yeoman, being in health of body. My will is that my beloved wife Anna, shall have such part of my estate as the Law allows her. I leave to my son Thomas all my lands and meadows in the town of Southold and all my houses and buildings, and he is to pay to my eldest son, Jeremiah, €20. If he refuses to pay the same then my son Jeremiah is to have 20 acres of the point of my land lying next to Plumb Gutt. I leave all my goods and chattels to my four children, Jeremiah, Thomas, Mary Goldsmith and Martha Horton. I make my son Thomas and my son in law, John Goldsmith, executors.
