    Walter A. Abrams, 75, of Poughkeepsie, formerly of Ossining, passed away peacefully Sunday, December 9th 2007 with his wife Marie and family at his side. Walter was born on Long Island on August 7, 1932 to Violet and Arnet Abrams. Survivors include his wife Marie; six children, Regina Abrams and boyfriend Michael Insalaco Jr., Walter Jr. and wife Maureen Abrams, Karen and husband Terry Hasapaglou, Stephen and wife Mamie Abrams, Joseph Abrams, Kenneth and wife Patricia Abrams; step-children Edward and Cindy Villa, Lisa and Joseph Flannino, Tony and Teri Villa; grandchildren, Gina and Jason McGoldrick, Sherina Lugo, Breana Abrams, Thomas Abrams, Matthew Abrams, Demitria Hasapaglou, Victoria Villa, Danielle Villa, Stephanie Flannino, Christine Flannino, Nicholas Villa, Michelle Villa and great-granddaughter, Cadence McGoldrick. He is also survived by his brother, Martin and wife Agnes Abrams; sisters, Violet Doughty, Linda Abrams, Shirley Bishop and many nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be 4-8 Tuesday, December, 11 at the Miller Funeral Home at 371 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie. Burial Services will be at 10 am Wednesday, December 12. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to the Dutchess County SPCA, 636 Violet Ave., Hyde Park, NY 12538.
