  Selah B Howell was the Captain of America's Cup the Defiane in 1914 and he seemed to have an eye for ladies lots of them. He was divorced twice. Newspaper article mention his many girl friend during his marriages. Pearl was the daughter of Matilda - interesting point Matilda divorced and moved to Brooklyn and in 1933 married Captain Robert R Willmott who was the Capt of the Morro Castle which caught fire and burned and 139 people died. The mystery surrounding the death of Willmott is that he died before the fire and they speculated that the fire was set to cover a murder. Now Matilda was divorce bef Selah Hawkins Howell was born and before Selah B Howell married Frances Kathleen Brett so there must have been fourth wife.
