Following the ceremony the young couple left in an automobile for a tour of the New England states. Both young people are well known in Patchogue, and they will make their future home here. Mr. Gerard is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Sherman Gerard of Ryder Avenue. The ceremony, which was a quiet one, with only a few of the family friends present, was performed by the Rev. W. H. Barton.
