  Died at US Naval Hospital Obituary - Mrs. Ruth Skidmore Fuchs, 34, of 52 Admiral Kalfus Road, Newport, R.I., died Monday at the U.S. Naval Hospital, Newport, after a short illness. A former resident of Patchogue, Mrs. Fuchs had lived in Newport since 1949. She is survived by her husband, Lieutanant Julius E. Fuchs, USN of Newport; a daughter, Judith Ann Fuchs, her mother, Mrs. P.M. Skidmore, of Patchogue, and a brother John Monroe of Patchogue. Services will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow in the C.W. Ruland Sons Chapel, Patchogue, with the Rev. Stuart W. Van Cott, of the Patchogue Congregational Church, officiating. Interment will follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Patchogue.
