She was a retired bookkeeper for Carmeuse Mining Company, Carntown, KY. Jo was preceded in death by her first husband, Harlan DeMoss and a son, Jeffrey DeMoss. She is survived by her husband, John Mallery; two daughters, Kimberly DeMoss (Greg) Jones and Becky DeMoss; three sons, Randy (Dine) DeMoss, Dan DeMoss and Chris DeMoss; three step-sons, Richard (Joni) Mallery, Christopher Rand (Tracy) Mallery, Sean Casey (Dee) Mallery; two brothers, Jim (Diane) Mattingly and Mike (Kathy) Mattingly; 15 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held at the Alexandria Funeral Home, Alexandria, Kentucky on Sunday, February 8, 2015 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm. Funeral services will be held at the Alexandria Funeral Home on Monday, February 9, 2015 beginning at 10:00am. Burial will be in the Alexandria Cemetery. Memorial donations are suggested to St. Elizabeth Hospice, 483 South Loop Rd, Edgewood, KY 41017.
