ALEXANDER, Rose M.
(Age 88)

Passed away in Spokane, WA on December 2, 2015. She was born in Spokane on April 25, 1927, to Henry and Marguerite Strong. She was raised on an orchard in Creston, BC, and returned to Spokane to attend Kinman Business College. She enjoyed gardening, knitting, sewing, tailoring, playing the piano, genealogy and serving as an LDS Temple worker.
Rose was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, Dale Alexander; son Stephen Alexander; her parents; and two sisters. She is survived by two children, Michael (Connie) Alexander and Kathryn Rose Trussell; brother Lloyd Strong; 16 grandchildren; and 38 great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 808 E. Sitka, Spokane, WA, Monday, December 7, 2015, at 10:30 AM with a time of visitation beginning at 9:30 AM. Burial will follow at Riverside Memorial Park, 508 N. Government Way, Spokane, WA. Memorial contributions may be sent to the general fund of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
