    Obituary - Mrs. Helen M. Gerard, wife of Joseph Gerard, of Patchogue, died in her home on Monday, after an illness of a year. She is survived by her husband, a daughter, Miss Frances, and a son, Joseph Gerard Jr., and by her mother, Mrs. Lillian Mutch.

    Also - Patchogue, Feb. 19- Mrs. Helen M. Gerard, 50, wife of Joseph Gerard, head of the South Shore Motor Transportation Company, died in her home yesterday after a year's illness. Besides her husband, a daughter, Miss Frances Gerard; and her mother, Mrs. Lillian Mutch, survive.

    Marriage - Patchogue, L.I., September 28 - A pretty wedding took place Thursday evening at the home of W. Taylor Raynor, 71 Amity street, when Miss Helen Mutch, daughter of Mrs. Lillian Mutch, and granddaughter of Mr. Raynor, was quietly married to Joseph Edwin Gerard. Following the ceremony the young couple left in an automobile for a tour of the New England states. Both young people are well known in Patchogue, and they will make their future home here. Mr. Gerard is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Sherman Gerard of Ryder Avenue. The ceremony, which was a quiet one, with only a few of the family friends present, was performed by the Rev. W. H. Barton.
