    Kathleen Pearce
    Nov 11, 1948 - Aug 22, 2016

Kathleen Pearce, 67 of Youngsville, NC passed away suddenly in her home August 22, 2016.
Originally from Centereach, NY Kathleen was a loving wife of 44 years to Herbert W. Pearce, also of Centereach, NY. Kathleen spent a good part of her life raising four children - Heather, Tammi, Ryan, and Connor. She also welcomed two sons-in-law into her life, Gregory and Frankie, as well as a future daughter-in-law, Samantha.
Kathleen's greatest treasures are her five grandchildren - Colin, Sophie, Aidan, Tanner, and Brennan all of whom she loved to spoil endlessly. "That," she said, "is Gramma's job!"
Kathleen's favorite pastimes included sewing, cooking and reading. From the time she was a child Kathleen loved to sew - clothing, quilts, costumes - and had a work table fashioned just for those creative times. She frequently viewed cooking shows and scoured magazines for a new recipe to try, and no holiday was complete without a box of homemade cookies. Kathleen was never without a novel within hands reach. "There's nothing like getting lost in a good book," she would say.
Kathleen will also be greatly missed by her brothers, sisters, and friends whom she fondly referred to as "family."
No formal services will be held. A celebration of Kathleen's life will take place in the family home on Friday, August 26, 2016.
