    Obituary - Mrs. Emma Cartwright Apgar, descendent of an English seafaring family members of which settled in this country in 1684, died suddenly on Tuesday at her home, 88-15 150th Street, Jamaica. She was born in East Hampton, L.I., eighty-four years ago, daughter of Frank Cartwright, captain of a vessel, which docked in Sag Harbor, L.I. She was the widow of Watson Apgar, superintendent of the Long Island Railroad. Surviving are four sons, Arthur, Frederick, Clifton and Watson Apgar.
    Also - Mrs. Emma Apgar, widow of Watson Apgar, died Tuesday morning at her home in Jamaica at the age of 83 years. Funeral services were held yesterday and the interment took place this morning at 11:30 in Cedar Grove cemetery, Patchogue. She leaves four sons, Watson W. of Stamford, Conn., Clifton of New York, and Arthur and Fred of Jamaica. Mrs. Apgar and family resided here for many years on South Ocean Avenue where the old postoffice now stands, Mr. Apgar being a conductor on the Long Island railroad. They moved away about 25 years ago.
