    Marriage - Uttley-Creighton- In a beautiful wedding Miss Lois Creighton, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Creighton of 37 Bransford street, Patchogue, and Warren Edgar Uttley, son of Mrs. Hiram Uttley of Center Moriches, were married in the Congregational church, Patchogue, at 2 p.m. Easter day. The Rev. Gerald E. Boyce performed the impressive ceremony.
    The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, wore a gown of white bridal satin, made with a fitted bodice trimmed with insets of imported lace in which were satin appliques. The Peter Pan collar was also trimmed with lace. The full skirt, worn over a satin hoop, was banded in the same lace as the appliques and terminated in a long train. Her illusion veil flowed from a cap trimmed with pearl and she carried an arm bouquet of white tulips.
    Miss Lavinia Creighton of Patchogue, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. She was dressed in a gown of yellow taffeta trimmed in narrow yellow lace and styled with a fitted bodice with an off-the-shoulder neckline and an illusion yoke. She wore yellow mitts of the same material and a starched chiffon picture hat in yellow, which tied under the chin at the side. Her bouquet was of yellow daffodils, white tulips and purple iris.
    The bridesmaids were Miss Doris Creighton of Patchogue, another sister of the bride, and Miss Helen Williamson of Center Moriches. They were gowned in aqua taffeta, fashioned with a fitted bodice, an off-the-shoulder neckline and an illusion yoke. Their full skirts were of net over taffeta and they wore picture hats of matching starched chiffon which tied under their chins and aqua mitts. They carried arm bouquets white tulips, pink tulips and white narcissi.
    Marvin L. Miller of Flushing was best man. The ushers were August Stout, Jr., of Center Moriches, a cousin of the bridegroom, and Clifford Scarlett, Jr., of Patchogue.
    The mother of the bride wore a navy blue dress with a white hat trimmed in navy blue. Her corsage was of gardenias.
    The bridegroom's mother was dressed in navy blue crepe and navy blue lace and a hat of pink tulle. Her corsage was also of gardenias.
    The church was decorated in white flowers and the wedding marches were played by Miss Edna Jackson, organist.
    A reception with buffet refreshments was held at the home of the bride's parents on Bransford street, immediately after the ceremony.
    Mr. and Mrs. Uttley left for a wedding trip, the bride wearing a gray suit with a gold check, a gold topper and a gray hat with roses. Upon their return they will live in Center Moriches.
    Mrs. Uttley was graduated from Patchogue High School and Alfred University, and had done graduate work at Middlebury College, Vermont. She is a member of the faculty of Center Moriches High School.
    Her husband was graduated from the Collegiate institute in New York city. He served for three and a half years in the Navy in World War II in North Africa and Guam. He is associated with the Seaside Bank, Westhampton Beach.

    Obituary - Mrs. Ada L. Creighton, 79, of Alfred, NY, a former resident of Patchogue, died March 19 at Bethesda Hospital, Hornell, NY. She was the wife of the late Fred Creighton.
    She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Lois Utley, Mrs. Doris Shrimpton, both of Patchogue, and Miss Lavinia Creighton, of Alfred, NY, and five grandchildren.
    Funeral services were held at the Ruland Funeral Home, the Rev. Gerald Eddy, pastor of the Church of The Nazarene of Patchogue, officiating. Interment was in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Patchogue.
