1. John Bishop was born Abt 1642, of Southampton, Suffolk, New York, United States (son of Richard Bishop and Dulzebella King). Notes:
"...and if any more I know not, nor the order of their birth of those named."
He removed to Southampton and is first mentioned on record Nov. 2, 1652, where he had a house lot of three acres granted him by the town, next north of the home lot of Joshua Barnes.
