  According to Fred Elgin Jayne, Grandson of John Whitaker Jayne, and nephew of Sterling Lester Jayne, Fred does not think that Sterling and Anna ever divorced. He remembers that John Whitaker Jayne married Anna after she and Sterling separated, but remembers no divorce. The marriage took place in Denver, Colorado.
