Notes - Born in Remsenburg
Obituary - William B. Fordham, 90 years old, was found dead in bed Tuesday morning at the home of his sister, Mrs. Carrie Weeks in Union Avenue. Coroner C.C. Miles of Greenport, who conducted the inquest, decided Mr. Fordham and died of arteriosclerosis. He had suffered a paralytic stroke some time ago. Mr. Fordham, who was a native of Remsenburg, had made his home with his sister for several years. Besides Mrs. Weeks, he is survived by another sister, Mrs. H.F. Pease, Southold, and three sons, Fred L. Fordham of Remsenburg, William H. Fordham of Brooklyn, and John Fordham of Easthampton. Funeral services will be conducted this Thursday afternoon at the Fordham homestead in Remsenburg and the burial will be in that village.
