  Margaret, the granddaughter of William Ellis Price, gave his father's name as Edward Price, born in Wales. I found only one Price family in Greenport, NY in the 1860 census. For reasons given in the notes for William Ellis, I have taken this to be the correct family. The 1900 census gives William Ellis' father's birthplace as England, instead of Wales.
