Notes - Obituary - Mrs. Maude E. Petty, aged 47, of 116 Smith Street, Patchogue, died Tuesday after an extended illness. She was a native of Patchogue.
Mrs. Petty leaves two daughters, Mrs. Hope Patterson of Kansas City, Utah, and Mrs. Joyce Hughes of Patchogue; a son, Richard F. Petty, who is in the Coast Guard; her mother Mrs. Ida J. Furman, of Patchogue; a sister, Miss Gertrude Furman of Patchogue; a brother, Edward Furman of Hampton Bays, and a grandson, James Richard Patterson.
The funeral service was held at 2 p.m. in the C.W. Ruland Sons' Funeral chapel, North Ocean Avenue, Patchogue, the Rev. Harry S. Crossett, pastor of the Patchogue Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
