He got a contract with the Brooklyn Dodgers, who tried to get him out of the service, but then came World War II. He claimed he played semi-pro baseball, but preferred watching football joined US Army Air Force before WWII; started at Mitchell Field; worked with classified materials resided in Jackson Heights, to New Hyde Park; moved in 1955 to Mount Hope had 67 acres; then about 1968 Middletown; in 1974 to West Palm Beach and Lake Worth a few years later. Died at home, 3982 7th Avenue North Lake Worth, FL 33461-2828 Cremated; cremains at home
