The Rev. J. Lindsay Patton officiating, Interment Evergreen. (Law). Colorado Springs Gazette Telegraph Thursday, Oct. 2, 1947 page 14 Mararett M. Russell Retired Teacher, Dies Miss Margarett M. Russell, a resident of this community since 1885 and a retired school teacher, died Wednesday afternoon at a local hospital. She was a teacher in the Colorado Springs schools for more than 45 years before her retirement. Miss Russell was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward F. Russell, pioneer residents of eastern colorado. She was born in Glens Falls, N.Y. Miss Russell was a member of Grace Episcopal church. She is survived by a brother, Fred S. Russell, of Colorado Springs, and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Grace Episcopal church, the Rev. J. Lindsay Patton officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen cemetery. The Law mortuary has charge of arrangements.
