A retired reservations manager at Lake Minnewaska Mountain House, he was born in Patchogue, Ill, on March 25, 1904, the son of Arthur and Kate Gordon. A graduate of Syracuse University and a World War II veteran with the 82nd Airborne Division. He was married in 1945 to Norma Mundy Gordon, who survives at home. Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.
