      Daughter of Samuel Dayton and Phebe Ann Baldwin, wife of George F. Murgatroyd and mother of Charles Dayton and Frank Murgatroyd.
      Obituary - MRS. DELLA D. Murgatroyd, 8, of 53 South Prospect avenue, Patchogue, died last Thursday at her home.
      Born in Patchogue, she was a life resident here. She was a member of Old Glory chapter , Order of Eastern Star of Patchogue; the Companions of the Forest of America; and a member and past councilor of the Daughters of Liberty.
      She is survived by a son, Frank Murgatroyd of Patchogue; and two grandchildren.
      Companions of the Forest and Eastern Star Services were held Saturday night at the C. W. Ruland Sons Funeral Home, Patchogue. Funeral services were held at 2:30 p. m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Rev. John E. Southard, pastor of the First Baptist church of Patchogue, officiating. Interment was in Cedar Grove cemetery, Patchogue.
