      Birth - Mr. and Mrs. J. Emerson Bransford of Avery avenue are the parents of a son, Mark Scott, born September 21 at Mather Memorial hospital, Port Jefferson. Mr. and Mrs. Bransford have another son, Robert Lyman. Mrs. Bransford is the former Miss Sarah G. Overton of Patchogue.

      Obituary - Mark Scott Bransford, 17 years old, of 172 Fairview Avenue, Bayport, died on Tuesday after an illness.
      Surviving are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. Emerson Bransford of Bayport, and a brother, Robert, of Patchogue.
      Funeral services will be held at two o'clock tomorrow afternoon at the Ruland Funeral Home in Patchogue with the Rev. Lester L. Haws, of the United Methodist Church of Patchogue officiating. Interment will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
