    • Obituary - Lawrence P. Gerard, aged 44 years, of 171 Bay Avenue, Patchogue, died suddenly Tuesday at Hempstead where he was connected with the Roosevelt Aviation School. Born in Patchogue, he was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Sherman Gerard and for the past two years had been associated with the Roosevelt School.

      He leaves his wife, Mrs. Marjorie Gerard, a sister, Mrs. Madeline Lightbody, both of Patchogue, and a brother, Joseph E. Gerard of Bellport.

      The funeral will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the home, the Rev. Harry S. Crossett, pastor of the Methodist church, officiating and interment will be made in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
