      Nathaniel, a sailor and seaman from 1860 to 1880, and in 1880, boarding with them was Annin Smith, age 74, Emily's uncle. Nathaniel was shown as a ship's carpenter, living on Clifford Place in Brooklyn, NY in 1900 and was shown as a patient in the Central Islip State Hospital in 1910.
