Notes - Obituary - Mrs. Alice Vera Payne, 89, of 209 Blue Point Avenue, Blue Point, died December 24, at Central Islip State Hospital. Born in Port Jefferson, she had lived here for the past 61 years.
She is survived by two sons, Alanson D. Payne of Blue Point, and William T. Payne of Lincoln, Mass.; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Services were held at the Pettit & Carman Funeral Home, 326 East Main Street, Patchogue. Interment followed in Blue Point Cemetery.
