  Died at Marathon Health Care Center of Greater Waterbury Mr. Charles E. Overton, 79, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2009, at Marathon Health Care Center of Greater Waterbury. He was the widower of Betty (Larrow) Overton. Mr. Overton was born in Waterbury on May 14, 1929, son of the late Parmineous and Edna A. (West) Overton. He was employed at Vickors Co. and later at the Bristol Co. until his retirement in 1985. He was a communicant of the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception Church. He leaves four sons, Charles E. Overton of Ashville, N.C., Donald F. Overton and his wife, Debra, of Oakville, Everett Overton of Waterbury, Michael J. Overton of Portland, Ore.; three brothers, Russell Overton of Waterbury, Robert Overton of Bethlehem, and William Overton of Waterbury; two sisters, Eunice MaCary and Barbara Russell; a grandson, Michael Overton; and a great-granddaughter, Amber Caouette. Mr. Overton was predeceased by a grandson, Donald Overton Jr., and two brothers, John Overton and Franklyn Overton. Arrangements: Funeral 9 a.m. Saturday from Chase Parkway Memorial/The Albini Family Funeral Home, 430 Chase Parkway, to Basilica of the Immaculate Conception Church for a Mass at 10 a.m. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Calling hours are 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
