Notes - Obituary - William Yarrington, Sr., died at his home in Bayville, late on Monday, aged 82 years. He was, until recent years, a resident of Sayville, where he reared a large family. He was a son of the late John Yarrington, of this village. He was a very competent boatman. In former years he was distinguished as a choir singer in the Sayville Methodist church. He belonged to one of the best old Long Island families. He is survived by but two members of his father's family, Capt. Charles W. Yarrington and Mrs. Harriet Crosby, of Sayville. The remains were brought to Sayville on Tuesday for interment and funeral services were held at 2 p.m. yesterday from the Sayville M.E. Church.
