Yvonne Heiter Skidmore, age 79, of Lake Placid came to Lake Placid in 1992 from Patchogue. Yvonne was a riveter for an aviation manufacturing company. She was a member of the Tomoka Heights Society Organization and the Red Hat Club. Yvonne attended the St. James Catholic Church in Lake Placid. Yvonne is survived by her daughter, Pamela; and sons, Peter and Perry; brother, Calvin Parris (Asta); 5 grandchildrenl and 2 great grand children. She was preceded in death by her husband, John in 2002. A Christian Memorial Mass will be at St. James Catholic Church. Interment in the Memory Garden of St. James.
