Notes - At the time her will was executed, Frank H. Furlong, an infant under the age of 14, born on October 18, 1909, to whom she left her entire estate, was living in the care of his aunt, Mrs. Hibbard Terry of 391 East Main Street, Patchogue, NY, and she had a surviving husband, William W. Furlong, of 201 17th Street, Brooklyn, NY. Executrix of her estate was her mother, Fannie H. Hudson, of Park Street, Blue Point, NY, who was instructed "to hold, invest and reinvest, to receive the rents, issues and profits arising therefrom, and to apply the same to the sole use of my son, Frank H. Furlong, until he become the age of twenty-one years of age and convey to him the said rest, residue and remainder of my estate as and for his absolute propery."
In 1910, Lillian Furlong, aged 23, was living in Montclair, N.J. with husband, William Furlong, aged 33, and son, Frank Furlong, aged six months.
In September of 1910, Lillian J. Furlong purchased land west and south of Case avenue, adjacent to Columbia street, Patchogue, from Gerrit J.W. Van Slingerlandt, for a nominal amount.
