    • Obituary - Captain Samuel Hudson, 58, a native of Blue Point, died Saturday at his home on Park Avenue, Blue Point, following a stroke of apoplexy suffered a week earlier while sailing his boat on the bay. Deceased was a son of Samuel Hudson, of Blue Point, and had spent all of his life there and in Patchogue. He had always been a bayman. Captain Hudson is survived by a widow, four daughters, Mrs. Maude Murthy of Orange, NJ, Mrs. Eva Bishop, Mrs. Alice Udell, and Mrs. William Furlong, of Brooklyn; three sons, Donald, Nelson and Ralph Hudson, all of Brooklyn, also one brother, Robert Hudson of Blue Point; three sisters, Mrs. L.J. Meunch of Bayport, Mrs. Samuel Thompson and Mrs. Stanley Arthur, both of Blue Point.
