      Mary Riggi, 84, of Whiting, passed away at her home on July 12, 2013. Born in Manhattan, NY, she was formerly of Queens, NY before moving to Whiting 22 years ago.
      She worked for AT&T as a telephone operator for 15 years before her retirement.
      Surviving is her husband of 61 years, Joseph Riggi; her children, Joseph, Whiting, NJ; Thomas & his wife Barbara, Woodhaven, NY; Michael & his wife Christine, Massapequa, NY and Mary & her husband Dennis McDermott, Floral Park, NY; her brother, William Cunningham, Woodside, NY; 7 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and many nieces & nephews.
      Visitation will be on Monday from 1-4 & 6-9 at the Family Owned Carmona-Bolen Home for Funerals, 66 Lacey Rd, Whiting, NJ. Funeral service will be on Tuesday at 12pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow at the NJ Veterans Cemetery, Arneytown, NJ.
