  Died at Oaklawn Hospital Battle Creek (MI) Enquirer Thursday, September 12, 1963 Mrs. Frank Katz MARSHALL -- Mrs. Myrtie Katz, 80, of Fredonia Township died this morning at Oaklawn Hospital where she had been a patient since Tuesday. She was born in Newton Township, the daughter of Fred and Catherine Keifer Katz, and had been a lifetime area resident. She had lived in Fredonia until making her home with a daughter, Mrs. Quinton (Doris) Vollgraff at 320 S. Mulberry st. four years ago. She and Frank Katz were married in 1905. He died in January 1934. Mrs. Katz is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Vollgraff and Mrs. Myron (Berniece) Avery of Marshall Township; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Edward (Lottie) Lee of Fredonia Townshp and Mrs. Ernest (Edith) Hoenes of Marshall.
