      MRS BEATRICE L BURNS
      Mrs Beatrice L Burns, widow of the late Joseph M Burns of Alvah's Lane, Cutchogue, passed away at her residence on Thursday morning, March 5. Mrs Burns, who has been a resident of Cutchogue for the past 46 years, was born in County Longford, Ireland and was the daughter of the late Daniel and Catherine Gallagher.
      She was a member of the Rosary Society and Our Lady of Fatima Guild of the Sacred Heart Parish.
      She is survived by a son Joseph of Southold, a daughter Mary of Cutchogue, and five grandchildren.
      Rosary services were held at the home of the deceased on Friday evening and a Requiem Mass was celebrated on Saturday morning in the Sacred Heart Church in Cutchogue by the Very Rev John C Brennan, pastor. Burial was in the family plot in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
