ARTHUR H REEVE
Arthur H Reeve,90, one of Riverhead's oldest residents, died at the Eastern Long Island Hospital on Wednesday. He was taken to the hospital Tuesday night. Mr Reeve who would have been 91 years in January, was the son of the late Mr and Mrs Edward Y Reeve, of Riverhead. He was born in Mattituck, but had lived in Riverhead for the greater part of his life and was highly respected. For a number of years he had resided on the Northville turnpike.
His wife died many years ago. Surviving are two sons, Edward C Reeve, of Ozone Park, and Howard Reeve, of Patchogue, two daughters, Mrs Emma Goodale, and Mrs Ida Gildersleeve, of Riverhead, and a sister, Miss Emma Reeve of Patchogue.
Funeral services will be held at Reginald H Tuthill's Funeral Home on Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock, with the Rev James Fraser, pastor of the First Congregational Church, officiating.
Interment will be in the Riverhead Cemetery.
