Edith M. Bisher, 96, of Bangor, PA, passed away Sunday, February 19th, 2012 at
Slate Belt Nursing and Rehab. Center, Washington Twp., PA. Born: May 7, 1915, in
Baltimore, MD, the daughter of the late William and Marie Doyle Hawes. Personal:
Her husband, Russell A. Bisher, died in 1958. She was employed as a secretary at
Pocono Medical Center in East Stroudsburg, PA, until retiring in 1985. Edith was
a graduate of Seton Hall Girls School in Baltimore, MD. Memberships: She was a
member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church in Bangor, PA, where she was
a member of the Sodality. Survivors: Edith is survived by a daughter, Kathleen
Pritchard and her husband Hayden, of Pen Argyl, PA; a son, Stephen Bisher and
his wife Diane, of Bangor, PA; a daughter-in-law, Donna Bisher of Roseto; seven
grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Edith was predeceased by three sons
Lee R. Bisher, Bruce Bisher, Roy Bisher; a sister Margaret Munson; and a
grandson.
