Notes - Obituary - Friends of Harry Hoyt in Lake Ronkonkoma were saddened to learn about his death July 28 at his home in Lake Park, Fla. He would have been 91 years old next January. Left motherless as a child, he was reared by Mr. and Mrs. Charles Wheeler Hawkins, the parents of Charles W. Hawkins, in Hawkins homestead on Gatelot Avenue. He was a left-handed pitcher on the well known Hawkins brothers baseball team. Mr. Hoyt chose banking as a career and was very successful. He married Miss Jennie Campbell of Port Jefferson who died several years ago in Florida. Religious services for Mr. Hoyt were held at Riviera Beach, Fla., followed by cremation. A memorial service was held at 2 p.m. Sunday in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Port Jefferson, where his ashes were interred.
