      MRS. AGNES GERARD
Patchogue—Mrs. Agnes Gerard, widow of Edward Gerard, late of Yaphank, died at her home in Patchogue last Saturday night after an illness of several weeks. She was 65 years old and had spent the greater part of her life in Yaphank. Mrs. Gerard's daughter, Mrs. Cadet H. Hand, died two weeks ago and the latter's mother was then so ill that she was not acquainted with the fact. Mrs. Gerard is survived by one son, Charles E. Gerard, of Patchogue. Funeral services were conducted at the late home of the deceased on Tuesday by the Rev. Louis H. Johnston and the burial took place in the family plot in the Yaphank cemetery.
