      partial obituary:
      ROYAL WARREN "PETE" PETERSON, 82, formerly of Partition Street, a retired school custodian, died Friday at South Kingstown Nursing Home, South Kingstown.
      He was the husband of the late Margaret H. (Angilly) Peterson.
      Born in East Providence, a son of the late George G. and Fannie L. (Smith) Peterson, he had lived in Warwick for more than 50 years.
      Mr. Peterson had worked as a custodian for the Warwick School Department for more than 20 years, retiring in 1985. He had previously worked as a machine operator for the H.P. Hood Co., Providence. After retirement, he was a part-time custodian at Sawyer School for several years.
      He was an Army Air Forces veteran of World War II.
      He was a member of Harmony Lodge 9, F&AM.
      He leaves several nieces and nephews.
