  "...probably born in Ably, Norfolk, England or perhaps in Ireland" Died Apr 1747 in Long Island City? "The American Genealogist and New Haven Genealogical Magazine", Volume XII, p. 157, states that Timothy "was Town Clerk of Brookhaven from 1688 to 1711, and died there between 1741 and 1749. Timothy was also Town Assessor and a Justice from 1716 to 1721. He and his wife, Mary Hawkins, are buried in the Presbyterian Churchyard in Setauket. However, their tombstones can no longer be read."
