Gilroy, Jane Frances 69, passed away peacefully at her home in Lakewood, Colorado, on August 14, 2010, after a recurrence of breast cancer.
She is survived by her husband, Edward Gilroy; loving sons, John and Daniel; and daughter-in-law, Thu Le.
Jane was the tenth of 12 children of the late Philip and Dolores Green of Washington, DC. She was predeceased by brothers, Joseph, Peter, Patrick, Daniel, sisters, Bernadette Rogers and Teresa Rosser. In addition to her immediate family, she is survived by her brother, Michael Green and sisters, Mary Anne Sonnenschein, Cecelia Pincus, Agnes Cammack, and Dolores Milmoe.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jane's name to your favorite charity. Jane liked to contribute to the Sangro de Christo Church, P.O. Box 326, San Luis, CO 81152, San Luis, CO. Jane donated her body to science. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Oct. 9, 2010, at Christ on the Mountain Church, Lakewood, CO. Published in Denver Post on August 22, 2010
