      !"At a ...meting there was then granted to Cornelius the Irishman three
      akers of land..."

      !"Cornelius Merry was a servant of John Lyman, to whom he was
      indentured."

      1716 after their deaths.

      !Cornelius was granted land in Northampton, Mass. in 1663. He was a
      participant in the Falls fight, one of the major battles of King Philips
      War. After the war [sometime after 1676], he removed from
      Northampton. (Savage. Gene. Dictionary of N.E. III, 1861, p. 200)

      !In Ireland, the name remained fairly concentrated in the counties of
      Tipperary and Waterford. What little movement occurred took place
      primarily in the adjacent counties of Cork and Kilkenny.
