Died at home, 60 Maple Avenue

Obituary - Mrs. Bernadine S. Woolford, wife of Edward J. Woolford, former village clerk and connected with the Long Island Lighting company, died at her home, 60 Maple Avenue, early yesterday morning. She had been seriously ill for a month, and had been in poor health for a year, but her death came as a shock to her many friends.

Mrs. Woolford was born in Patchogue on July 2, 1881, the daughter of the late Nathaniel and Elizabeth Lambert Swezey. She had resided here all her life and was active in several circles. She leaves, besides her husband, a son, Nathaniel, and a sister, Miss Theresa Swezey.

The funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon at the home, the Rev. Louis Harold Johnston of Kensington, Conn., former pastor of the Congregational church officiating with interment in Cedar Grove cemetery.
