      !Married at Norwich, 14 Sept. 1696, Elizabeth Adams, dau. of Rev.
      William Adams, of Dedham. She was born at Dedham, 21 Feb. 1681 and
      died 21 Dec. 1766. Her mother was Alice Bradford, dau. of Deputy Gov.
      William Bradford, and granddaughter of Gov. Bradford of the Mayflower.
      She married (2) in 1737, the Rev. Mr. Niles of Braintree, Mass. He died 1
      May 1762. So she moved to New Haven to live with her son, Col. Nathan
      Whiting. She died in New Haven, 21 Dec. 1766.

      !He died while on a visit to his cousin, Rev. Nathaniel Collins. Mr. Collins
      was also his brother-in-law, having married Alice Adams the sister of
      his wife.
