    Capt. White was the son of Henry H. White of Good Ground/Hampton Bays. He made his living on the waters of Shinnecock Bay, Great South Bay, Peconic Bay, and Long Island Sound. He had Charter boats, Ferry boats, Fishing boats, Oyster Boats, Tug boats, Scows and most everything in between at one time or another. He was a kind and generous man. Rest in peace, grandpa. We miss you.
