Notes:
RIVERHEAD YOUTH DIES MOURNING FOR MOTHER
Kenneth Peterson, aged 16, son of Perry L Peterson of this village, died last week Thursday. Although Kenneth has been a paralytic since he was two or three years old, due to infantile paralysis, and absolutely helpless, his death was undoubtedly hastened grieving over the loss of his mother who died three weeks ago. Mrs Peterson has always tenderly cared for Kenneth and after she passed away, the condition of the youth rapidly grew worse.
Funeral services were conducted on Saturday afternoon from the Peterson home by the Rev John R Gee pastor of the First Congregational church and the burial was in the Riverhead cemetery.
