    Obituary - Mrs. Elvira M. Swezey died last Friday evening at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. George D. Dill on Snedecor Avenue, Bayport. Mrs. Swezey died at the age of 75 years after a long illness.

    She was born in New York and had lived in Patchogue for 45 years until she went to Bayport to make her home with her daughter. She was a member of the Patchogue Congregational Church. Mrs. Swezey was the widow of Richard Swezey, former painting contractor of Patchogue.

    She is survived by her daughter, two sisters, Mrs. Minnie L. Jones of Elmhurst, and Mrs. Carrie Corlett, of Amityville, and two brothers, William Gordon of Merrick, and Clarence Gordon of Brooklyn.

    Funeral services were held on Tuesday from the Ruland Funeral Chapel, in Patchogue, with the Rev. Arthur T. Tedcastle, pastor of the Bayport Methodist Church, officiating. Interment was in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Patchogue.

    Obituary - Herbert H. Swezey, 24 years old, only son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard E. Swezey, died at his home in Patchogue following a brief illness of pneumonia. He was employed as a bookkeeper in the Patchogue Bank until recently when he left to accept a position with the Patchogue Manufacturing Co. He is survived by his parents and one sister, Helen. Funeral services were held at the Congregational Church, the pastor the Rev. Louis H. Johnston, officiating and interment was in the Cedar Grove Cemetery.
