    MRS. ROGERS DIES SATURDAY
    Funeral services for Mrs. Kingsley Rogers, 36, who died Saturday morning at the R.R. Rogers home, were held Sunday afternoon from Ward’s Funeral Home. The Rev. J.B. Calhoun, pastor of the Congregational church conducted the rites and burial was made in the Clear Lake Cemetery.
    Pallbearers were Gerald Brooks, Robert Findson, Arthur Peterson, William Madsen, Eldridge Church, and Ralph Ingersoll. Mrs. C.A. Pease accompanied at the piano by Mrs. Harold Thompson sang “No Night There” by Dangs. The flowers were arranged by Mrs. Frank Palmer, Mrs. Neta Church and Miss Oretta Minette.
    Alice Jacobson was born on a farm southwest of Clear Lake on June 4, 1902. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Jacobson.
    She graduated from the Clear Lake high school in the class of 1922. In 1924 she entered Hamilton School of Commerce and upon completing her course she worked for Webster Brothers Manufacturing company until her marriage.
    On July 14, 1929, she was married to Dr. Kingsley Rogers of Clear Lake. They went to live at LeMars where they became members of the Presbyterian church. On September 1, 1932 they moved to Britt and there their son, Richard Ross, was born on January 30, 1934. Dr. and Mrs. Rogers moved to Clear Lake, Aug. 1, 1936.
    Mrs. Rogers was active in church work and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary as long as her health would permit.
    Mrs. Rogers leaves to mourn her passing, her husband, one son, her mother, Mrs. Mary Jacobson, of Clear Lake, three sisters, Mrs. John Porter, Des Moines, Mrs. Fred Smokstad, Iowa Falls, and Miss Minnie Jacobson, Clear Lake. Four brothers , Clair and Floyd Jacobson, Des Moines, Albert Jacobson, Spring Valley, Minn., and Melvin, Clear Lake, also survive. All the brothers and sisters were present at the funeral.

    NOTE - Alice Rogers was born June 4, 1902, died July 1938 and was buried in the Clear Lake Cemetery Section 2 Row 7.

    Alice married Doctor Kingsley Rice Rogers 11 Jul 1929, Clear Lake, Cerro Gordo, Iowa, United States. Kingsley (son of Ross Richardson Rogers and Harriet Adelaide Rice) was born 16 Oct 1904, Clear Lake, Cerro Gordo, Iowa, United States; died Sep 1983; was buried , Clear Lake Cemetery, Clear Lake, Cerro Gordo, Iowa, United States.
