"Mrs. Mary Elmore Jones, aged 83, daughter of the late Alfred and Angeline Brown, died at Middletown, N.Y., on Saturday, of pneumonia.
She was born in West Sayville but in young womanhood moved to Brooklyn.
Besides her daughter, Mrs. Fannie Smith, of Worcester, Mass., she leaves two sisters, Mrs. Emily F. Ingraham, of Traverse City, Mich., and Mrs. Anne E. Foster and a brother, Elbert M. Brown of Sayville.
Funeral services were held at W.N. Raynors rooms at 2 o'clock on Monday afternoon, the Rev. A.M. Wilkins officiating. Interment was in Union cemetery."
