    • Carol Wells Moser (long time resident of Hauppauge) on November 2, 2006 in her 67th year. Beloved Mother of Scott P. Wells. Cherished only child of the late George and Hazel Dow. Carol attended elementary school in Bayshore and then a private elementary school in Windermere, Florida. Moving back to NY, Carol attended Middle and High School in Hauppauge where she received a medal in Journalism and was the 1st editor of the school newspaper. Carol was a participating member of the 1st graduating class of Hauppauge High School (which is now the middle school). Past RCA Model of 1964-65 World's Fair NYC at Edward Durell Stone House Exhibition. Retired NY telephone operator where she worked from 1970. Father, George, was a Mason and her Mother, Hazel, was a past Matron of O.E.S. Meridian Lodge in Islip.
      Interment at Oakwood Cemetery, Bay Shore.
