    • Connersville News Examiner 9-19-1958 p. 1 "Chester W. Saxon, 64, Dies In California; Rites At Rushville Chester W. Saxon, 64, died of a heart attack today at his home in Los Molines, Calif. He had been suffering from a heart condition for some time. The body will be flown to Rushville for funeral and burial services, but arrangements have not been completed. He moved to California ten years ago. Mr. Saxon was born in Fairview Township, a son of Walter and Cora Long Saxon. He had been active in Farm Bureau work both in Fayette and Rush Counties. Survivors are his wife, formerly Gertrude Dolan; the children, Mrs. Joseph Risch of Connersville, Weldon Saxon of St. Louis, Mo., and Chester, Jr., Mrs. Fred Broderick, Byron, and Mrs. Bert Newman of Los Angeles, Calif.; two stepchildren, Mrs. Theodore Stevens of Rushville and Max Dickey of Rush County; 19 grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Curtis P. Scholl of Fairview Township."

Saxon, 64, who died at his home in Los Molinos, Calif., Friday, will be held at the Rushville Moster & Sons Mortuary Wednesday at 3 p.m. Masonic rites will be conducted at the East Hill Mausoleum. Friends may call at the mortuary after 10 a.m. Wednesday. Rev. Earl Best will officiate at the service."
