      Harry H. Vogel, 64, of the Town of Centerville, died Thursday afternoon in Memorial Hospital, Sheboygan, following a lingering illness. Funeral services will be 1:30 pm Sunday in St. John and St. Peter Lutheran Church, Cleveland. The Rev. Henry F. Koch will officiate and burial will be in Saxon Cemetery, Town of Centerville.
      Mr. Vogel was born March 9, 1914, the Town of Centerville, son of the late Louis and Alice Zill Vogel. He married Hattie Laack of the Town of Plymouth June 5, 1937. They resided on the Vogel homestead where they were engaged in farming. He was a member of St. John and St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church and sang with the church choir. He also served on the church council. Mr. Vogel served on the LaFollette School Board, Town of Centerville. He was treasurer for the Town of Centerville for 22 years, treasurer for AAL for 22 years and also treasurer of the Saxon Cemetery Association.
      Survivors include his wife, a son, the Rev. Vaughn Vogel of Zion, Ill.; a sister, Mrs. Arthur Sixel of the Town of Meeme and five grandchildren. A son, Virgil, preceded him in death.
      Friends may call in the church 4 pm to 8 pm Saturday and Sunday from noon until the time of services. Stoltenberg Funeral Chapel, Cleveland, is in charge of arrangements. A memorial fund has been established in his name.
